Hunting Grounds
Our hunting grounds features 1040 km2 of land in the unique setting of Castle Mountain Wildland in Southern Alberta. The territory encompasses the Pairie, Foothill and rugged Mountain ecosystems all in one. It borders the renowed Waterton National Park to the South and the province of BC to the East. In fact, you will be hunting the high alpine meadows of the Great Divide, providing astonishing views and surreal landscape.
Castle Mountain Wildland
Castle Mountain Wildland Park was established in 2017 in recognition of its amazing landscape and unique big game habitats. You'll be exploring, glassing and hunting this limitless natural area and be thrilled by its immensity and beauty.
The Hunt
Our hunt is entirely done by foot and e-bikes, from the lower river flood plains to high alpine meadows. Hiking, stocking, glassing and buggling remains the best way the find the herd and lock site with the bull. Our comfortable camp site is located directly within the hunting grounds and surrounded by a majestic landscape that will stay engraved in your soul.

Castle Mountain Park holds a great population of resident elks and is also used as a migration route to access their overwintering range from the high plateau to the prairie.
We are not short of game in our hunting grounds.
The Strategy
To fully enjoy your hunting trip, you will need to be in good physical form. Many kilometers of walking will be involved in a mountain setting. We pack our game on our back and e-bikes to get the meat out of the bush to our camp site.
We'll be hunting different areas in the Wildland to find your dream bull and change settings, making it a new adventure everyday.
This is a thrue outdoors hunting adventure. Once there you'll have and feel no no limtit.

Let us plan everything from camp to meals, so you have more time glassing and hunting and enjoying the landscape.
COTTAGE & CAMP
We offer accomodation in cottages in the town near by for a perfect hunting jouney. Rustic confort to come back to after a day out in the mountains is well deserved. Enjoying drinks and warm gourmet meals with companions while talking about your day will become your joyful ritual. A 15 minutes drive to access the hunting groud enables you to have a second coffee while thinking about today's hunting strategy.

WALL TENTS IN THE FIELD
We also offer accomodation in a cozy Wall Tent warmed up by a wood stove and enjoying home cook meals. Nestled in the middle of the hunting ground, you'll access alpine meadows or river plains walking out of camp. For the outdoor's enthusiast, we also offer setting up spike camps in higher grouds for up to three days when we want to be set up close to your dream bull at the crack of dawn.
